Honey into a jar

Kastna küla, Pärnu

Come and remove seals from the honey combs freshly taken from the hive, spin, sift and put the pure honey from Pärnumaa into a jar for yourself!During the workshop, under the guidance of a beekeeper, you’ll get a unique activity experience and may take along up to 3kg of honey that you have put into a jar by yourself. As a bonus, you can enjoy the apiary’s unforgettable honey, wax, and propolis aromas, which are released when the honeycombs are processed. In addition, we will explain how honey is made in the hive, what the coating wax is and how the honeycomb’s shape and appearance is formed.
The workshop is also suitable for children; come with your family or friends! If you are interested and upon agreement, you can also take the honeycombs out of the beehive yourself.
