Viruna Farm is a recognised practice centre for heritage tourism. We invite you to an exciting heritage hike at the Neitsi (Virgin’s) bog!We will start with a tractor ride along the bog embankment and cross the Mustoja creek, from where we take a 1 km walk to the bog ridge. From there we will be taking canoes along the water. In the Naistepuumets (Women’s Tree Forest) we will observe the underwater river, bog island and ‘virgins’ or waterlilies. We will complete the day with a rich dinner made mostly of home-grown ingredients. Vegetarian options available in addition to Viruna’s famous lamb roast.
At the shore of the creek, hot sauna and accommodation with breakfast is already waiting for you. We also will be making the ‘luck-keepers’, which you can take along as a keepsake. Discounts available for larger groups, ask for more information!
