A sports ground and an outdoor stage were built next to the former community centre in 1965 so that the two neighbouring islands – Kihnu and Rihnu – could organise sports competitions.
The same place is in active use as a sports ground today: there is a tennis court and a soccer field, where competitions are held. You can go play tennis or soccer there at any time. The most beautiful party of the year – Midsummer Day – always takes place there around a big fire.
