The 2.8 km long hiking trail close to the city is a favourite place among both locals and visitors. The information board at the beginning of the trail provides an overview of the basic concepts of forestry. On the forest trail, you can get acquainted with various forestry and nature conservation topics and admire the 160-year-old protected forest as well as the native alders by the river.
Next to the trail, by the Pärnu River, there is a campfire site with a campfire grill grate and a table and benches with a roof for a pleasant stay. You can also fish here.
