The 400-meter-long Sandra hiking trail is a short but beautiful hiking trail located in the Rongu Bog in the Sookuninga Nature Reserve, in the southern part of Pärnu County, near the Latvian border.
The hiking trail is covered with a boardwalk, and at the end of the trail, there is an observation deck, offering a great view of the bog. At the beginning of the hiking trail, there is a forest hut where you can rest your feet or stay overnight for free. The resting place has a covered campfire with a grill, benches, an outdoor toilet, and a wood shed.
Note: Due to difficult road conditions, it is recommended to leave the car on the side of the road before the last kilometer and continue on foot. The trail is closed from February 1 to July 31!
