Manija, a small island in Pärnu Bay, is an ideal destination for a daylong kayak trip! Wildflowers blanket the island; goats, sheep, cows, and alpacas nibble on the grass; and wild berries ripen at the end of summer. We walk to the lighthouse, and, if you wish, you can request a visit to the museum. The hike is suitable for families with children.
Manija and Kihnu Islands are included on UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage list, and a hike offers an authentic local experience. We recommend ordering a meal from Riida tourist farm, which offers good domestic beer and a famous lamb roast!
