Lake Tõhela is one of the most beautiful lakes in Pärnu County and all of Western Estonia. It is the fifteenth largest lake in Estonia, covering an area of 338.5 ha. The source of the Paadrema River, one of the best rivers for crayfish in the area, is at the northeastern end of the lake. The lake has plenty of fish, which has made it a favourite with amateur fishermen. A public beach that is perfect for swimming and relaxing with the family is located on the eastern shore of the lake. There are activities here for both young and old. There is a seating area for relaxation, a volleyball court, children’s playground and watchtower. It is an ideal place for a picnic, and to relax and enjoy nature.
